Family Tree

I have a family history file that you can get and use. We have Broderbund's Family Tree Maker. The program is older, it's version 3, but it does everything we need it to do. Andrea, my wife, has over the years put together a family tree of her side of the family, the Truman family. I have added what little of the Perras family that I have been able to drudge up from my family members. It Goes back to Henri Joseph Perras, born 1893, Burlington, Vermont, to present. It's a start. My family just does not have a lot of family history information, and that brings me back to one of the reasons for this site. I'm hoping over time that visitors will be able to help me add to the history file. You can get the file by going into the genealogy section of the forums.

To this end, I've now added a discussion forum to the site, which you can also access by clicking here. There are also some photos of the Perras crest that I acquired some time ago. You can get to them from the 'Family Tree' section of the photo album. I would like to see you folks add any crests or family symbols that you may also have, it would be interesting to see what's out there and when and where it came from. That in itself is pretty interesting I think. If you attach them to your posts, I'll add them to the album with your descriptions.
